Top of PageI love working closely with children and encouraging them in a behind-the-scenes role. Seeing their confidence grow in dance and in life makes this the best job in the world. I am grateful to all the CDA families who allow me to provide a fun activity for their children while at the same time sharing an art that has enriched my life.

Top of PageIn the process of learning to dance, you also learn about life. Dance is not easy - it takes patience, sweat, confidence, pain, and finally trust that if you don't give up, you will be able to achieve your goals. The sense of joy and accomplishment cannot be denied - it is the glue that has held my life together. It is a privilege to give this gift to others.
Angela Donatone
This is Miss Angie's 11th year teaching for the Centreville Dance Academy. Her dance

C.A.S.T. in McLean. During her non-dancing hours, she is pursuing a BS in Marketing at

Top of PageDance is more than an art form or discipline. It is a passage way into the human soul, where we can find a joyful expression of life and learn who we are. As a teacher, I enjoy capturing that spirit in my choreography and teaching. I feel I am not only here to teach dance, but to help guide dancers through the journey of life.

husband Doug and two children Emily and Mike. Emily shares her love of dance here at
Centreville Dance Academy.
Top of PageDance has been a love of mine since childhood. The physical aspect is good for the body while getting lost in the movement and music is good for the soul. What better way to combine my love of children, dance, and teaching but through dance.

Top of PageFor me, dance is the truest, most powerful from of expression. It is my passion, my identity, the greatest gift I was given. I could not be happier or more honored to have the opportunity to help others find, experience and develop that in themselves--to help them feel the depth and beauty of life.

Top of PageThe art of dance is the ability to take yourself away from the present moment and exert all your energy into positive movements. Dance allows me to be passionate about something and release my feelings through expression.
