Recital 2012!
This is your on-line destination for everything your need to know about Recital 2012. Here you will find information about tickets, costumes, picture/rehearsal/performance schedules, and order forms. Be sure to check back often as we will be adding what you need as we get closer to recital.
Recital Dates
This year's Recital will be held on Saturday, June 16th, 2012 and Sunday, June 17th, 2012.
Recital Location
The recital will be at
Osbourn Park High School
in Manassas, VA.
(NOT Osbourn High School, also in Manassas).
Performance Days and Times
While every attempt will be made to keep children with one or two dances and families with more than one dancer to one Recital day, it is not always possible to do so. Follow one of these links to find your dancer's performance day and time: Combo Classes – Level Classes
Costumes
Each student performing in the recital is required to purchase a costume. Costumes range in price from $85 to $95. If your child is in a combo class or linked tap and jazz classes, they will only need one costume for both of their dances. If a dancer will not be participating in the recital, we need notice in writting before December 31st so as not to order a costume that isn't needed. We are sorry, but we cannot refund any costume payments after December 31st.
Pictures of your classes' costume will be shared in class February or early March. Costumes are handed out in class two weeks prior to recital; just in time for pictures.

All students are required to wear the following tights for pictures and recital:

Pictures
During the week prior to recital (June 8 - June 14), we hold dress rehearsal at the studio, and we offer the option of having your child professionally photographed in his/her recital costume. All students should attend this rehearsal whether or not you plan on having your child photographed. Regular classes are not held this week. Instead, each class will come on the same weekday as usual, but at a different time (a schedule will be prepared and distributed in advance).
Tickets
Recital tickets will be available for purchase in May. Detailed information on how to order tickets will be provided in April.
