School Year Dance Program 2012-2013
Our School Year Dance Session offers combination and level classes in ballet, creative dance, tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, pointe, and Rhythm Force for students ages 18 months through 18 years of age. Classes begin September 10th, 2012 and end with a recital performance at Osbourne Park High School in the middle of June.
Dress Code
Adherence to a dress code is an important part of a student's dance education. Along with proper classroom etiquette, following the dress code show's respect for the art of dance, the teachers, and the students themselves.
All dancers should have a bag to carry their shoes into the classroom. Shoes and bag should be clearly labeled with students first and last name.

Hair
Hair must be fully secured back and away from the face and off of the neck at all times, in all classes.
Class Attire
2½'s Creative Dance, 3's, 4's, 5's, and 6's Combination Classes
- Girls:
- Solid color leotard
- Tights
- Pink ballet shoes
- Black tap shoes (Combination Classes Only)
- Dance bag
- Small skirts are allowed, no tutus please
- Boys:
- Solid color shirt
- Black dance/sweat pants or shorts, no denim
- Black ballet Shoes
- Black oxford style tap shoes
- Dance bag
Jazz,Tap and Jazz Hip Hop
- Girls:
- Solid color leotard
- Tights
- Tan slip-on jazz shoes
- Black oxford style tap shoes (Tap classes only)
- Small skirts or shorts are optional
- Boys:
- Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts (No denim)
- Black jazz shoes
Ballet, Pointe, and Lyrical
- Girls:
- Ballet A-F, Solid color leotards only
- Ballet/Lyrical G-K, Black leotard only
- Pink tights
- Pink ballet shoes
- Tan half soles (for Ballet/Lyrical G and up)
- Small skirts or shorts are optional
- Boys:
- Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
- Black ballet shoes
Hip Hop
- Girls and Boys:
- Black dance sneakers
- Black dance/yoga pants or capris (No denim, skirts, or shorts)
- Plain Black T-shirt or Black CDA Shirt
Rhythm Force
- Girls
and
Boys: - Black Jazz Shoes
- Black Karate pants with white stripe
- Plain Black T-Shirt or Black CDA Shirt
