Adult Fitness Classes
Adult Fitness at CDA

Our dance and fitness adult classes can be started at any time. Your All Star Pass or Unlimited Plan will get you into any class or classes you choose. Some fitness classes may require you to bring a mat. Please note our Studio Calendar for scheduled closings due to holidays.

FLEXISTRETCHER

Flexistretcher conditioning system class, working with the Flexistretcher allows one to simulate dance-specific or sport-specific movement patterns concentrating on improvements in execution and mobility. Utilizing the elastic resistance, the Flexistretcher increases muscle strength in a safe, productive manners. As the band stretches, resistance increases, providing a stimulus to the muscle. This resistance does not rely on gravity. Instead, training with elastic resistance provides a variable resistance throughout the stretch or exercise, eliminating the possibility of using momentum and "cheating" your way through the movement. Working against this resistance forces the muscle to respond with increased effort, which promotes the development of muscular growth, strength, and power.

Our adult dance classes can be started at any time. Your All Star Pass will get you into any class or classes you choose! You can sign up for just one or multiple classes; it's up to you. Please note our Studio Calendar for scheduled closings due to holidays.

Adult Ballet

Learn the ballet basics and improve your posture, balance and muscle tone. Enjoy the beautiful music and graceful movements that has made ballet an enduring art form.

Adult Tap

Get on your feet and make some noise! This beginner level class will focus on proper instruction of how to articulate your feet and ankles as well as explore musicality, rhythm, and syncopation.

Adult Hip Hop

Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
